And in effect, it’s coming to the state wedged between them: Illinois. Kindred Group on Tuesday announced a 10-year agreement with Caesars Entertainment to gain market access into Indiana and Iowa – and “potentially other states,” according to a news release – to operate both online sports betting and gaming through its Unibet brand. Kindred, through Unibet, can immediately begin seeking licenses in both states, which would double its footprint in the United States. Unibet currently operates in New Jersey and Pennsylvania sportsbooks. Its online Pennsylvania sportsbook is operated in partnership with Mohegan Sun. Unibet’s New Jersey sportsbook is through a deal with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. In Indiana, Unibet will ally with a Caesar’s Horsehoe Hammond property less than 30 miles from Chicago, giving it a key outpost to tap into an Illinois market left fallow because of regulatory delays. Most important, the deal will bring mobile and online betting options to a property battling to compete financially without it.
Unibet Can Tap Into Chicago Market
Sports betting was legalized in Illinois in June, but a launch date remains nebulous and seemingly far-off. So Illinois bettors continue to pour over the Indiana border from the city of 2.7 million to patronize the likes of Horseshoe Hammond and DraftKings-affiliated Ameristar East Chicago. Ameristar’s January sports betting handle of $73,037,356 led all 13 Indiana providers – $170,813,254 was collected in the state – with $65,993,539 coming from that sportsbook via mobile. Caesars never launched a mobile product for Horseshoe Hammond, negating its proximity as the nearest Indiana sportsbook to the Chicago metropolitan area. Unibet’s Iowa peg will be at Harrah’s Council Bluffs, which is just across the Missouri River from Omaha, Nebraska, and nestled in the metropolitan statistical area of nearly a million. Mobile betting accounted for about 59% of Iowa sports betting handle in January. Ten of 19 Iowa sportsbooks offer mobile or online sports betting. Kindred US senior vice president Manuel Stan said he was “thrilled” to expand the company’s American presence with Caesars.
I made it to Pittsburgh late last night after a long 12 hour drive through Indianapolis and Columbus. I thought Columbus was just a little city like Des Moines or Omaha. I had no idea it was so big, I ended up getting stuck for about 40 minutes in rush hour traffic, made me appreciate the toll road in northern Ohio and Indiana more, at least you don’t get stuck in that kind of traffic. So I guess we are trying to get to Gold Lot 1 in the NE corner by Tony Dorset Dr (A Cowboy?) and Reedsdale. I will be there with my keg of beer lugged all the way here from Iowa. And I’ll have another cooler full of bottled water from Hy-Vee to keep us hydrated. The lot opens at noon. So I will be there around 11:30 tomorrow morning ready to drive in. Today I will be going to Rivers Casino and maybe a few breweries and getting some lunch. I’ll be in section 115 tonight so let me know if you want to meet up or anything pre, during or post game. Finally if you are paying cash for the game ticket be sure to bring it with you to pay our friend DG Lewis for going through the trouble of buying us group tickets. Gamer tag: PoeThePanda47 All teams are fully customized and I have a roster for each team setup as well. I know a lot of these teams aren't where the real teams are but I fixed it to like the MLB minor league system many teams play in large markets. I tried to base some teams on teams that do or once existed as a professional basketball team that was in the area. I didn't name the Seattle team the Sonics because I felt like the Sonics deserve to be strictly NBA not a minor league team if they ever do make a come back. I also tried to avoid teams being in the same market such as the Jazz and the Thunder D league teams being in in OKC or SLC. -The Iowa Energy is the only team that plays in the same exact arena as they do in real life. -The Greensboro Swarm play in the large arena in the same complex that they play at. -The Rio Grande Valley Vipers I moved to a larger arena in Laredo, TX still along the Rio Grande River. -The New Mexico Thunderbirds I moved to The Pit aka WisePies Arena in Albuquerque. -The Austin Spurs I moved to the larger Frank Erwin Center just south of the University of Texas campus in downtown Austin. -The Texas Legends I moved to Fort Worth as Dallas & Fort Worth are decent drives. Fort Worth fans don't have to travel as far to enjoy a professional basketball game. -The Idaho Stampede and the Tulsa 66ers I moved back to there original locations as both irl are very close to their original team. -I felt like the Scottrade Center was a little too big for a d league team when a perfect size arena is nearby that's why STL plays in st Charles

FLOOD STAGE IS 29.0 FEET.
FORECAST...THE RIVER MAY RISE TO NEAR 30.9 FEET MONDAY MORNING.
IMPACT...AT 32.0 FEET...INTERSTATE 680 WEST BETWEEN THE MORMON BRIDGE AND INTERSTATE 29 BEGINS TO FLOOD. ALSO...INTERSTATE 29 BETWEEN CRESCENT AND COUNCIL BLUFFS BEGINS TO FLOOD.
IMPACT...AT 29.0 FEET...SIGNIFICANT LOWLAND FLOODING OCCURS IN NP DODGE PARK...FREEDOM PARK...PLAYLAND PARK...FONTENELLE FOREST AND HAWORTH PARK.
